Me and Marius decided to go and give it a try to Vantage Peak and check out a new view towards Joffre group.
None of us had ever been up that way and we didn't know where exactly is the parking lot since there wasn't any cars at the parking lot so took us a bit until we found the parking for Cerise Creek.
We followed the winter trail which had lots of tracks and was pretty packed so we didn't had any problems with our snowshoes.
Once we got at the junction towards the hut where we had to go right towards Vantage col there wasn't too many tracks but the snow was till pretty firm.
Didn't took us too long until we got at Vantage col from where the views where just incredible, probably the best view that I've seen so far, of course we took our time and took a lot of photos.
Soon we started our way up along the ridge to the summit of Vantage.
It was a pretty easy ridge, just few sections of class 2 scramble with snow.
We took our time on the summit to enjoy the view and try to name some of the peaks that we were seeing.
Soon we started our way down to the col where we looked at the mighty looking Joffre group from that angle and started our way down to the parking lot.
