This was another trip with few friends from Wanderung.
I was hoping we could start earlier from Vancouver since looked like it will be a long day up towards Marriot but we started only at 6.45 from Vancouver.
The weather wasn't that great on our drive in but once we were getting closer to Pemberton clouds were lifting up and we were getting more sunshine.
Once we got at the parking lot there was 2WD car that did a pretty bad parking job and blocked the entrance so nobody was able to drive on the logging road and lots of people got pretty angry and we just spent few minutes just reading all the notes that he got on his windshield.
We were doing pretty good time but once we got closer into the valley we lost the trail, but according to my friend's GPS we were on the trail but that was winter trail which made us to cross the creek.
After looking around we saw another group that wasn't too far from us that was going back down form the hut, so we knew we had to cross the creek again and get back on the nice trail.
Once we got at the hut there was a group of 2 hikers that told us to turn back since we won't make it to the summit since it's a 8 hour roundtrip form the hut to reach the summit.
But we still decided to go and give it a try and see how it will go.
Once we got at the headwall it was getting already late but we kept on going up and soon we saw the mighty looking Mount Marriot
Looking how far it is the summit and what time it was we had to turn back and head back down to the parking lot.
In the end it was a nice hike into a new area even that we didn't got to the summit.
