Flatiron

                                                     Flatiron Peak May 09 2015

A solo trip up in Coquihalla up to Flatiron Peak,a pretty busy trail but I started earlier in the morning and didn't see any group only until I was half way back down to the car.

Royane

                                                Mount Royane May 10 2015

Decided to go for one last ski trip for this season and chose Mount Royane given that the access is so easy so we all jumped in Adrien's car which he was able to drive to almost at the end of the road.

From there we got our skis and started walking on the road and Dean just skied Royane few days ago so he was going for Sun God Peak instead.

Soon we reached the snow and started skinning.

There was still a skin track here and there that we were following which made route finding easier.

In no time we reached the summit of Mount Royane which offers great views and soon we started our descent down taking the famous ,,Y''  couloir which was a fun ski line with only one tight spot the rest was pretty open and we were back down in no time.

From the bottom of the couloir we got back on our tracks and started our way back down to the car where Dean was waiting for us.

Twin Two, Asherah

Twin Two, Asherah Peak May 02 2015

We decided to go back into Phacelia creek area and this time we decided to give it a try to Twin Two area see how far we could go.

We had Dean's car and had to park pretty much ta the bottom at the old parking lot for Lizzie Creek access from where we started hiking on the road.

The Phacelia Creek Road was in pretty good shape, no more waterbars but they were still doing some logging and had some heavy machinery by the bridge over the creek.

Once we crossed the bridge we found a descent spot to get into the forest and started our way straight up towards the summit of Twin Two.

After lots of bushes we finally got into some open terrain and finally start seeing our destination Twin Two Peak and soon we got our snowshoes on and started going up towards the summit.

From the summit of Twin Two we continued along the ridge to Asherah Peak.

For our way back down we picked one of the avalanche gullies and went all the way down to the road following that gully.
