Devil,Intlpam

                                                  Devil,Intlpam Peak April 04-05 2015

After our last trip on Askom Peak not long ago we decided to go back into that area with Dean again on skis and chose to go towards Devil and Intlpam Peaks.

Texas Creek road was in pretty good shape, we drove to about 1680m elevation where we decided to park and go from there.

There was few steep spots in the forest but the terrain wasn't too bad once it opened up.

Soon we started following the West ridge of Devil Peak.

Once we got on the summit of Devils Peak we took few photos and started our way towards Intlmpam Peak.

We decided to skip one of the subsummit of Intlpam  and skied down to about 2000m from where we went back up NW ridge of Intlpam.

The last 1km to the summit along the ridge felt endless, we were both tired from all that long drive but slowly we were getting closer to the summit .

Once we got on the summit we didn't spent too much time since we still had a long way back to the car so we started our way down pretty fast .

On our way back from Intlpam we dropped down into the valley pretty much near Skimath Creek road from where we made our way up one of the subsummit of Devil Peak from where we skied down and got back into our earlier in the day tracks.

We got to the car pretty late and after our dinners we went to sleep.

The next morning we had in plan to try and go up Rigby Peak so after our breakfasts we drove down and we parked the car at about 1370m from where we followed one of the many ribs that are going up towards the ridge.

We were going pretty slow and the terrain was pretty steep in few spots, and after hours of just forest we finally started to see our destination, but later after checking how far we still have to go and it was getting late considering that we had a long drive ahead of us so we made the decision to turn back and ski back down to the car.
On our way back down we just decided to follow a creek gully between 2 ribs which worked pretty good and took us down for most of the ways but got steeper at the bottom and forced us to get back into the forest.
