A nice day trip up to Tricouni Peak with Robert from clubtread.
The trail was very muddy from start but soon enough we found snow and made our travel a bit easier and more pleasant.
The route finding wasn't too bad and the snow was pretty firm.
There was some debris from recent avalanches by the lower lake.
From the lake we went straight up following another group that happened to be there on the same day with us.
It was getting pretty steep and the snow was getting softer.
The summit section was pretty steep and had some exposure but all of us made it safe to the summit of Tricouni Peak.
After enjoying the views from the summit we soon started our way back down to our cars and none of us were excited about the muddy trail we have to deal with.
