Rainbow Lake.

                                             Rainbow Lake-December 11-12,2010


Despite the bad weather we decided to go for Rainbow Lake and camp at the lake with few new friends from clubtread.

There was few cars already at the trailhead which meant for us that there will be tracks up to the lake.





We were going pretty slow carrying our heavy bags with overnight gear.



At about half way mar the tracks stopped and that's where we saw few tents and from there was just navigating using the GPS but my friend had only one set of batteries which were half full and didn't last for too long.



Once we didn't had the GPS anymore and we were in whiteout we started our way towards the lake from what I remembered last time when I went up to the lake and soon we got to the lake.



The next morning we were hoping to continue a bit further up from the lake but the weather didn't improve so we just decided to take it easy and take our time on our way back, plus most of our tracks were gone so we had to do some route finding again.

Great overnight trip with friends.
