So this is how I started my hiking journey into BC mountains with few friends.
I had my eyes on Lions and wanted to get a bit closer and check them out and after some research we decided to go up the famous Ground Grind trail and check out the view from up there.
None of us was expecting so many steps, plus the trail was a bit icy once we were getting closer to the end of it and everybody was looking weird us since we were all in jeans and big puffy jackets.
Once we got on the top we finally had the beautiful view towards Vancouver and since it's was pretty busy we soon started our way towards Grouse and later Dam Mountains following the well packed trail.
The views form top of Dam Mountain were pretty beautiful and none of us had seen something like that before and those birds were pretty friendly and kept coming back for more snacks from us.
Soon we started our way down and once we got down at the lodge we got offered a free ride back down on the gondola, what a luck day for us.
Great first hike with beautiful views from the top and of course we got to see those mighty looking Lions closer.
