A trip up to Garibaldi lake with few friends from clubtread and first trip with Leigh and Spring.
Our plan for the day was to get up Mount Price.
So we started pretty early and we met up at the winter parking lot which was few km lower than the summer parking lot.
Soon we got to the lake and finally got to enjoy that beautiful sun.
The snow was pretty deep but we were making some good times and soon another person that saw our post on clubtread joined us a bit later and helped us with the trail.
Once we got onto the ridge towards Clinker we were going pretty slow, the snow got pretty deep and most of us were pretty tired already.
We got on the summit of Clinker and decided to have some snacks there and after few minutes we made a group decision to turn back and head back down to the lake, even that the summit of Mount Price wasn't that far away from where we were but nobody was keen into joining me to go or the summit.
On our way down we met a group of skiers that were just making their way up to ski Mount Price.
We had another stop at the lake to enjoy those views one last before we went back down to the parking lot.
