Decided to do a mini loop in Mount Carleton Park with my friend Austin as a overnight trip.
So we left Fredericton the day before and drove to the same parking area at Nictau Lake.
We followed the same road that goes to Mount Carleton trailhead for 2.9 km where the road to Mount Carleton goes to the right but we continued straight for another 2 km from where the trail to Mount Sagamook trail starts.
We hiked a bit on the trilhead following the blue markers and soon we found a perfect flat spot where we decided to camp .
The next morning after our breakfast we packed our gear and started our way towards Mount Sagamook.
the trail to Mount Sagamook was a bit steep but not as long as we expected to be and soon after some navigation we were on the summit of Mount Sagamook.
From the summit of Sagamook we started our descend towards Mount Head over a short section of boulders after what the trail is pretty mellow and pretty well marked.
Along the way to Mount Head there was enough signs showing you the way towards the summit and soon we got on the summit and saw our last destination Mount Carleton which wasn't too far away.
After few rocky sections from Mount Head we got to the summit of Mount Carleton where there is a short rocky section to get up to .
Pretty nice loop in a beautiful area over 3 peaks.
