Towinock,TowinockN4,Brew,Enterprise

Towinock, Towinock N4, Brew and Enterprise Mountains August 22nd 2015

After years and years looking at Mount Brew from other peaks and after some research I decided to get a group together and go for Mount Brew.

I know that most of the people had done it from Enterprise Creek but I decided to give it a try and go from Molybdenite Creek Road that way you can tag some other peaks on the way too.

The plan was to do it as a car camping weekend and stay in that area and do few more peaks in there leaving Friday after work and camping on Texas Creek Road.

We all met in North Van and the group was pretty big, Me, Michelle, Dave, Gordon, Brian and Dean was supposed to join us too but after waiting for him for over 30 minutes we decided to start driving and we took 2 cars.

The drive to Lillooet was pretty tiring with lots of traffic and just before getting onto Fraser West side Road we got some gas from Lillooet and started the drive towards Texas Creek.

We drove a bit on Texas Creek and there was supposed to be a campsite on the side of the road but we couldn't find it or though we found what used to be a campsite and slept there.

The next morning we continued our way up Texas Creek and met Brian and Gordon that were waiting for us at the fork with Molybdenite FSR and soon we started our way up the road.

The road wasn't too bad for a bit but then there was a deep waterbar which was fine for both cars, both stock Jeeps and further up there was a section of loose boulders that we though we will have to turn back but the cars were fine on that section too.

We parked our cars at about 1640m and soon started our hike.

It was bushy for the first meters but after that we had some opening and some easier travel.

Soon we reached the ridge that we followed to a small subsummit where Brian made a decision to turn back to the car since he wasn't feeling that good.

From the subsummit we started to follow the West ridge to the summit of Towinock.

The views where pretty nice from the summit of Towinock and we could see how far we still have to go to get to Mount Brew.

We didn't spent too much time on the summit and soon we started our way towards Towinock N4.

The ridge it's pretty easy to follow just lots and lots of ups and downs.

We finally got on Towinock N4 from where Mount Brew was really close to us, just one more big push to the summit.

And after the last push we made it to the summit of Mount Brew.

I decided to keep going and do Enterprise Peak while the other will rest on the summit of Mount Brew and I will just catch them on my way back.

So soon I left from Enterprise Peak following the East ridge which was pretty loose in few spots.

Once I got on the summit I could still see the rest of the group on Mount Brew and I started my way back.

Once I went over Towinock N4 I could finally see the rest of the group that was only few minutes away.

After regrouping we started our way back to the cars together.

Once we got at the cars we chatted with Brian for a bit who drove up to Molybdenite lake and soon we all drove together to the campsite just up the road below Revolution Peak where we spent our night.
