Dora, Barbour, Gingerbread, McLeod and Copper Peaks June 27-28 2015

Adrien suggested to go into Tenquille Lake area and explore some peaks as a relaxing overnight since he had a race after the trip.

We parked at the base of the East ridge of Dora Peak where we were able to drive ok except one deep waterbar just before the parking.

From the we followed the burned forest for a while following the East ridge to the summit of Dora Peak.

From there we decided to stay on the North ridge of Barbour and follow that to the summit which was fine except with few loose towers that we had to avoid and some of them we had to climb.

From the summit of Barbour we finally had some nice terrain to follow to Gingerbread Peak.

The plan was to camp near Cooper Peak and once we got near Copper we set up our tent and went for the summit  after what we went down where we had our dinners before our bed time.

The next day Adrien suggested to wait for me at the hut while I will go and hike up the peaks on the other side of the lake but I decided to go down together and that way Adrien will get home early to rest a bit.

The way back down to the car was pretty fast following the Tequille Lake trail and then walking a bit on the Tenquille Creek Spur road.
