Adrien suggested to go for a nice overnight trip into Meslilloet Peak area after some reports of the Ok condition on the logging road.
Mamquam FSR was in pretty good shape but had some rough spots, especially a tight creek crossing spot which wasn't a problem with Adrien's car and just before Mamquam 27.7 Meslilloet Spur road we had to park and walk from there.
We followed Dunkeld FSR to the end from where we made our way to the summit of Dunkeld Peak.
The terrain was pretty good and not too bushy.
Once we got on the summit of Dunkeld we dropped to the lake from where we continued towards Meslilloet and we camped just before Meslilloet NE1.
The next morning we went to the summit of Meslilloet which was pretty easy with few scramble moves just before the summit which was about class 3 scramble.
From the summit we had some gorgeous views of the area and full cell phone service.
We didn't spend too much time on the summit and soon we started to make our way back to our camp.
For our way down we decided to skip Dunkeld Peak and drop to Meslilloet Spur road which we would follow back down to Mamquam FSR and back to the car.
