After hiking in Birkenhead area the day before and car camping the next morning we drove up using the same approach that we used last time with Dean when we did Seven O'Clock by Tenquile Creek FSR which was in pretty good shape for my Civic.
We followed the same route to get up Seven O'Clock that we used last time, getting over a tricky subsummit and then reaching the summit ridge to Seven O'Clock.
Once we got on the summit there was another group that hike up the scrambles book route.
Soon we left the summit of Seven O'Clock and started our way towards Sun God Mountain.
Just before started our ascent on the summit ridge at about 2140m, summit ridge of Sun God we noticed a pretty wide gully that looked pretty easy and was going right to a old logging road, so we kept that mind for our descend.
Wasn't look to reach the summit from where we had a better look of the route that we were looking earlier to take down.
Once we got back to the spot that we saw we started our way down and took us less than an hour to get down from the ridge back down to the car, pretty fast way down.
