We already tried to Mount Currie with Ben not too long ago but there was too much fresh snow and not enough day light and we had to turn back on Elgin peak.
We drove a bit further on Currie Westside FSR and soon we started hiking on Mount Currie trail.
The trail was still in pretty good shape and got better through the new clearcut where they were cutting trees last time we were there and soon we got near the look out from where we continued our way up to Elgin peak.
From Elgin peak we were following the cairns and dropped a bit before going back up to the summit ridge of Mount Currie.
Once we got on the ridge we decided to get some water from the glacier which was the only source of water out there.
Soon we got on the summit which had amazing views all around and we of course spent some time up there to enjoy those views before starting our way back down.
Our way back was pretty fast since we were almost running down the trail from the lookout spot.
