Hurley Silvermine-February 21-22 2015
Peak 7500 and Peak 7400
We decided to go and explore the area of the Hurley Silver mine with Dean and Adrien.
We parked our car by the bridge at the large patking spot area.
Once we crossed the bridge we took the left branch since the right side is going to the protest camp.
Almost from the start the road was pretty bushy with lots and lots of alders and in some spots that were more exposed to the sun there wasn't snow on the road.
About half way up we found an abandoned car on the road.
Once we got into the alpine the traveling was more pleasant and faster.
We decided to camp down in the valley on the north side of Peak 7500.
The next day we went up Peak 7500 from where we continued on the ridge towards Peak 7400 from where we skied down where we rejoined our tracks.
