Gillespie and Seed Peaks-October 12th 2014
The weather forecast wasn't looking that great but Adrien and Dean suggested to go for something more local that would still be ok with this weather which was Gillespie and Seed Peaks.
Adrien drove his Forester on the logging road with no problem with just adding few new scratches to his paint on branch E110 of the MamquamFSR.
We hiked the last bit of the road and soon we got to the trailhead which was at the edge of the clearcut.
The trail was pretty well marked and wasn't long until we got into the meadows.
First we decided to go for Mount Gillespie following the small glacier to the base of the NW ridge of the peak.
From the summit of Gillespie we went towards Seed Peak and back down the trail.
The weather was getting worse and worse as we were going down from Seed Peak and we got all wet but that didn't stop us to make a stop and eat some blueberries that we found on our way back down.
