Me and Dean decide to explore the area into Gott Creek and chose our destination towards Michelle and Blue Jay.
We were hoping to drive a little bit on Gott Creek FSR but when we got there the road was covered with a sheet of ice so we just had to park by the highway.
Soon we started skinning on the road and it wasn't too slippery, we only had few problems on the steeper sections of the road, but there were few mud spots where we had to take our skis and walk on that pretty soft mud.
It took us a while to get near the end of the road, we were hoping to get to the base of Michelle Peak and camp there but it was getting pretty late and we only made it to the end of the road where we decided to make our camp.
The next morning we went towards the base of Michelle Peak from where we continued our way up to Blue Jay-Michelle col.
From the col we went first towards Michelle Peak from where we skied back down to the col.
From the col we went up Blue Jay peak and the weather started to get worse.
Once we got on the summit the visibility was pretty bad and we couldn't see much and decided to just follow our skin tracks back down to the col instead of trying to get down towards Russell Peak.
Once we got back at our campsite it was snowing so we decided to just pack all our gear and ski down to the car instead of spending one more night up there.
Skiing down was pretty fast except one part of the road which was pretty bushy.
