I've been always looking at Fountain Range and wondering how to get there and we decided with Dean to give it a try and do a loop from Fons to Fountain.
We parked the car on Munson Road and started following the dry rib going towards Fons Peak.
We were going pretty fast until we got up on the ridge where there lots and lots of deadfalls that slowed us down a lot.
After a lot of deadfalls we finally made it to Fons Peak from where we dropped again in the deadfall nightmare and again we were going pretty slow.
The ridge itself also wasn't a very easy travel,lots of loose parts and lots of minor ups and down.
Once we got at about 1.5km away from Quatlenemo we decided to go down since for sure we won't have time to get to Fountain today and if we wanted to go down it will be now since after that point the terrain gets pretty steep.
So we went back a bit along the ridge and found a spot that wasn't too steep and dropped down to the highway from where we walked back to the car.
